For rail Protection Officers

Say it once.
It's on the record.

Speak your entry and say the time, and DigiDiary stamps it into a proper diary, attaches your photos and location, and generates the official NRF 017, COR-FM-060 and MRF 017 forms ready to hand over.

How it works

Three steps, gloves on.

01

Speak the entry and the time

Hit record and talk like you'd write: "Zero seven fifteen, arrived on site…". Rail vocabulary is built in, so signal numbers, points, stations and terms like WPP, TOA and ASB come out right. Say the time and the entry is stamped then, not when you found a quiet moment to record it.

02

It lands in the ledger

Each entry gets its transcript, timestamp, optional GPS position and any photos you take, watermarked with time and location. Everything syncs automatically in the background to encrypted cloud storage, and keeps working offline when the coverage drops out.

03

Generate the official form

End of shift, one tap: the diary becomes the official NRF 017, COR-FM-060 or MRF 017 PDF: multi-page, with photo evidence and a GPS appendix, ready to print, share or file.

Records that hold up

Built like evidence, because that's what it is.

A protection diary can end up in front of an investigator. DigiDiary is built for that day.

Audit trail

Every change is on the record

Edits never overwrite history. Each version is kept with its text, the exact time of the change, the device that made it. If an entry's time is adjusted, that is recorded too. The full chain is visible in the app.

Retention

Nothing vanishes by accident

Deleted entries are kept for 90 days before they're gone for good, and account deletion is deferred the same way, matching the record-keeping expectations of rail work.

Location & photos

Proof of where and when

Entries and photos can carry GPS coordinates, and photos are watermarked with time, place and photographer. Prefer not to record location? Turn it off in Settings. Your choice, per device.

Multiple diaries

One diary per job

Keep separate diaries per worksite or shift, archive finished ones, and search across everything. iPhone and iPad, with a split-screen layout built for the bigger screen.

Straight answers about your data.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

TLS 1.2+ on the wire; AES-256 encryption at rest in cloud storage.
